Looking for an Earth Day event?

Join LA Waterkeeper this Saturday, from 9-11am, for an impactful Earth Day at the North Atwater Park entrance to the LA River. Alongside Golden Road Brewing and STIIIZY, volunteers will be engaged in a three-part activity:

  • River 101 guided nature walk + water sampling
  • Trail, park and community trash cleanup 
  • DIY wildflower seed bomb activity

And don’t forget to join us for a post-cleanup event from 11:30-1:30pm at the Pub at Golden Road-Atwater Village. 21+ volunteers will receive a special ‘Thank You’ from Golden Road.

LA Waterkeeper slates annual fundraiser for Sept. 24

Saturday, Sept. 24 at 5 p.m. at Making Waves, LA Waterkeeper’s annual fundraising gala, at Paradise Cove Beach Cafe, Malibu.

This year marks the 50th Anniversary of the passing of the Clean Water Act. They will celebrate this monumental legislation and how the organization uses it to advocate for healthy, vibrant waterways and sustainable, equitable, and climate-smart water supplies for all Angelenos.

Entertainment features award-winning funk musician Ollie Gabriel,  late-night comedian Heather Pasternak, and multi-genre artist DJ Amara. 

Individual tickets are $500.
